Rubbish TV Part I

“Life After People” on Channel 4 on Monday night. A look at what the earth would look like 1 year, 2 years, 10 years, 100 years, 200 years and 10,000 years after the human race was wiped out. Framed as a documentary. How? How will we know if they were right or not? Regardless, why should we care which animal would reign supreme in our absence or when the Eiffel Tower would collapse if not maintained? What a waste of CGI on speculation dressed up as science. What could be an interesting film with a script does not necessairly equal a documentary. Rubbish.

  1. I’ll admit I was quite intrigued by this programme – maybe as a Spurs fan I’m used to imagining “what if” scenarios! I didn’t catch it in the end.

it can’t have been as pointless as NI Wags though!

  2. NI Wags may be pointless, but at least there was a passing shot of me in it outside the stadium in Iceland!

  3. Yeah I thought I’d spotted you. That was you in the blond wig, short skirt and stilletos wasn’t it?!

(I need that wig back by the way 🙂 )

  4. I was simply smiling in the background as my brother pushed people out of the way to get his photo taken with Gerry (Gerry! Gerry! Gerry!) Armstrong.

I’ve had my photo taken with Gerry once and it satisfied a certain craving in me that obviously my brother shares. However, he has had about 5 photos with the man and still wants more…
