“How much and how long?”

A girl in work is getting her hair done tomorrow. The appointment will take between 2 and 2.5 hours and cost her £80. For that amount of money and that period of time she will never get back, I hope that it will look like this:

I cut my hair every couple of weeks and my clippers cost me about £30. They are the 3rd set I have had in over 10 years, working out at under £10 a year in haircuts.

Piece of evidence number one to support my hypothesis that all girls are mental.

  1. here’s what you’ve done… 🙂 you’ve started a blog… had 5-6 good blog ideas in the space of 5 or 6 days. so you’ve wrote them all up and published… Soon, the ‘block’ will kick in and you’ll not be able to think of anyting to write about… here’s what i do… only ever ‘release’ a post every 4 or 5 days… but keep writing drafts.. and have 2 or 3 in reserve for when the block hits.

nice posts – like the partridge reference – £80 hair cut ref etc

  2. The real question is not whether I have any more good ideas (I already have a couple of bankers up my sleeve in case of a few uneventful days), but whether I have the staying power to maintain this initial level of enthusiasm. I’ll be presently surprised if I am making two or three posts a week in a month’s time

Where do I find your blog then?

we’re probably 2 or 3 degrees of separation from friends in common

  4. If only I could spend £80 and 2 1/2 hours to have hair looking like that…
